Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. Because we share homeowner leads with contractors who pay for them, this right applies to you.
Two ways to opt out
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or a privacy extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as an opt-out request — nothing else is required.
- Email us. Send a request from the email you used (or describe the lead you submitted) to privacy@isitlicensed.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
Opting out does not stop you from using the site, and we will not discriminate against you for opting out. The simplest way to avoid having your information shared is to not submit a quote request — your contractor verdict is always free and never requires a form.
