Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to WCAG 2.2 AA, known limitations, and how to report an accessibility barrier.

Effective date: June 26, 2026IsItLicensed

Accessibility is part of being a credible public-records service, so we treat it as a first-class requirement. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and to Level AAA contrast on our most important elements — the status verdict and its source line.

What we do

  • Status is always shown as an icon plus text plus color — never color alone.
  • Text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast; the verdict badge targets 7:1.
  • The site is keyboard-navigable with visible focus indicators.
  • Forms use labels above fields, with clear, inline error messages.

Known limitations & feedback

Some third-party content (such as the official CSLB records we link to) is outside our control. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email accessibility@isitlicensed.com and we will work to fix it.
